Strokes Easy Learning French is a software package designed to help you learn French quickly and effectively. With a wide range of features and lessons, each level of the course introduces new concepts and builds upon the previous one. Everything is very easy to use right from the outset and if you complete the whole course we are pretty sure you will have an excellent grasp of the French language.

Strokes Easy Learning French can be downloaded instantly or you can order the boxed version direct to your door. The download version is slightly cheaper though and there isn't much more in the box anyway so we would recommend opting for the download. There are three individual levels to the course which can be purchased separately, but you do save a bit of money if you buy all three in a set. It's worth doing so if you are serious about learning French as you will soon want to move on from the beginner level.

The whole Strokes Easy Learning French course contains around 300 lessons which are split roughly evenly between the three level packs. There is an enormous amount of content in it and nothing is skimmed over as tends to be the case with some language learning software. There are excellent recordings of native speaker dialogues to follow on the paper based lessons you can print out from your computer. It's also possible to extract the audio as mp3 format so that you can learn while you are away from the computer. Everything fits together very well and you can tailor lesson plans to your learning priorities. Furthermore, if you complete the whole course you should be up to level C1 standard of the EU-Standards for language.

There are plenty of extras besides the basic lessons inside Strokes Easy Learning French. Probably the most useful of these are the memory training games that work through thousands of words to help you build a useful vocabulary for every day situations. However, the voice recognition features are also great for improving your accent on those difficult words. Finally, something that won't excite everyone, but is incredibly useful nonetheless is a dictionary of over 6000 words supplemented by a full grammar guide and verb conjugation tables.

Strokes Easy Learning French is a well structured and well made French course. It perhaps doesn't have the looks or fancy gimmicks some other applications boast, but it is elegantly designed and very usable. It certainly isn't the cheapest around though so if you are serious about learning we highly recommend going for the full set at once to save some pennies!
